Therapeutic Approach

Life can bring challenges, and finding the right support is a crucial step toward growth and healing. I offer a safe, confidential space for adults to explore their inner world and navigate difficulties. Whether you prefer the comfort of in-person sessions or the convenience of online therapy, I adapt my practice to meet you where you are.

My work focuses on common but complex issues like anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship struggles, stress management, and workplace issues. I draw on different proven methods, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), which helps you change unhelpful thinking and behaviour patterns; Person-Centred Therapy, which emphasizes empathy and helping you discover your own solutions; and Dialectal Behavioural Therapy, which looks at learning skills when distressed, validation and acceptance of oneself.

This tailored approach ensures we find the tools that work best for your unique journey. During your initial consultation, we can discuss each therapeutic approach in detail to agree on how we can best move forward together.

    Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is a type of talking therapy that helps you understand how your thoughts, feelings, and actions affect each other. Together, we’ll look at unhelpful patterns that may be keeping you stuck and find new ways of thinking and coping. It’s a practical, supportive approach that focuses on helping you make positive changes in your day-to-day life.

    Dialectical Behaviour (DBT)

DBT is a type of therapy that helps you manage intense emotions and improve your relationships with others. It focuses on building practical skills in areas like mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and communication. Together, we’ll work on finding balance, learning to accept yourself as you are, while also making positive changes where you want to grow.

    Person-Centred Therapy

Person-centred therapy focuses on you, your experiences, feelings, and the direction you want to take. It’s based on the belief that you have the inner resources to grow and heal, given the right support. My role is to offer a safe, understanding, and non-judgmental space where you can explore what’s happening for you and move towards greater self-awareness and self-acceptance.

  • Integrative Therapy

Integrative therapy is a personalised and holistic way of supporting your mental health. Instead of sticking to just one method, it blends techniques from various therapeutic approaches, giving your therapist the flexibility to tailor sessions to your unique needs. This makes it more inclusive and adaptable than traditional therapy styles.

Often called holistic therapy, it looks at the whole person, not just your thoughts and emotions, but also your physical wellbeing and life experiences. It’s all about meeting you where you are and helping you move forward in a way that feels right for you.
